Boil Water Advisory Lifted, Wednesday, Dec. 23
PUC has advised the Township of Johnson that the boil water advisory has been lifted for all users of the water system in Desbarats. Merry Christmas!

5pm, Dec. 19 Update: Water Main Repaired!
Public Works is happy to announce that the water main is repaired and PUC is bleeding the lines and water should be available in all of Desbarats soon. WARNING: PUC has issued a Boil Water Advisory for the entire Desbarats water system until further notice.

Repairs continue on the break and, aside from delays caused by having to take breaks to pump water out of the excavated area where the break is, PW still anticipates having the repair finished today. Water Main Break update, 9am, Saturday, December 19
Public Works has been working on the break since 6am. If all goes as expected, they anticipate having the break fixed today. Please check back for updates. A reminder that PUC will be issuing a Boil Water Advisory for the everyone using the township water system once the system is up and running again.
