Banners for Veteran’s Tribute 2026

Join us in honouring Veteran’s past and present as we cover Lake Huron Drive with commemorative banners.

We invite you to complete an application for a loved one, family member, or friend and highlight their act of service on a Banner. Applications are open until Friday, July 3rd, 2026 and filled on a first-come-first served basis. If your banner doesn’t make it up in the 2026 display, it will be shown in the 2027 display.

Banners are expected to go up the first week of November and stay up past the Remembrance Day Ceremony on Wednesday, November 11, 2026.

If you would like to support a Veteran Tribute Banner, donations would be greatly appreciated. Banners cost upwards of $200. Donations of any amount can be made by e-transfer to payments@johnsontownship.ca. Charitable receipts can be issued for any amount over $25, as long as your name and address are included in the comments.
