Johnson & Tarbutt Township Landfill – Landfill Recycling Changes

As of January 1st, 2026 updates have been made to our recycling protocols detailing what is and is not acceptable recycled products.

The following recyclable items are NOW accepted at the Tarbutt and Johnson Landfill along with previously accepted items:

Please remember that all items must be Sorted(separate from garbage and organics), Rinsed of leftover residue/food and cardboard products flattened.
