Boil Water Advisory LIFTED: Monday, November 24, 2025

The standing Boil Water Advisory is now lifted as of Monday, November 24, 2025. Municipal water for the Hamlet of Desbarats is now safe to use.

The recommended practice after a Boil Water Advisory has been removed is to:

• Flush all plumbing by running cold water for at least 5 minutes at each faucet. Start from the lowest floor and move upwards.
• Flush hot water by running a hot water tap for 15 minutes.
• Discard any ice and discard the first few batches of ice from your ice maker
• Clean or replace any water filters in your home. This includes your refrigerator, coffee makers, or a whole-house system.
