North Shore Soccer Association is a house league youth soccer program for youth Born in 2021 – 2007 (Ages 4-18) organized and hosted by three Municipalities: Township of MacDonald, Meredith & Aberdeen Additional, The Township of St. Joseph, and Johnson Township. 

Johnson Township also supports the organization of the North Shore Soccer Association for the Town of Bruce Mines, The Township of Plummer Additional, and the Township of Tarbutt thanks to the financial contributions from these municipalities.

All teams are co-ed and league play starts around the end of June and continues until early August for approximately 6 weeks of gameplay.  Away games can take place on St. Joseph Island, and in Echo Bay. The season ends with a Parents vrs. Players game in Desbarats. Shin guards are mandatory to play and must be covered with socks.

The North Shore Soccer Association strives to create an environment that is welcoming and achievable for everyone and follows the FUNdamental principles of participation, good sportsmanship, and leading by example. Providing a fun, supportive, learning opportunity for everyone to participate and build their skills.

Volunteers are necessary for the success of this program and for each division to run successfully we need volunteers for Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Referees.

This is a great chance to secure your student volunteer hours! Parents, siblings, Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents, family friends, and students, are all encouraged to volunteer to help the North Shore Soccer Association run successfully.

The North Shore Recreation Programs support the Ontario Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport Concussion Guidelines. These guidelines will be made available to Coaches and to the public on the municipal website.
