Summer Student Employment 2026 – Johnson Township

Johnson Township is accepting applications for youth summer student positions for the upcoming season. All roles are pending funding approval. Eligible applicants must be between 15–30 years of age.

Available Position Areas (Pending Funding)

Recreation & Administration

Recreation and administrative support roles assisting with program planning, event coordination, and day‑to‑day operational responsibilities. Positions work in a fast‑paced environment, supporting community activities, customer service needs, and the smooth delivery of seasonal programs.

Parks Maintenance
Park maintenance roles would involve grass cutting, landscaping support, general labour duties, caretaking tasks, and municipal beautification. Positions contribute to the upkeep, cleanliness, and safety of parks, and public spaces throughout the season.

Start Date: Monday, July 6th, 2026

Length of Positions: 8+ Weeks

Work Week: 35hrs/Week

Wages: Dependent on the position
