Fay McClelland Tree Lighting & Road Closures
Join the Johnson Elves for the 3rd Annual Tree Lighting in Downtown Desbarats – now named the Fay McClelland Annual Tree Lighting Celebration.
Celebrate community, kindness, and all the feelings of the season on the corner of Lake Huron Drive and Main St. Roast a marshmallow on the open fire barrels, enjoy treats, hot chocolate, a visit from Mr. & Mrs. Claus and Holiday Carolling.
Festivities will begin at 5pm on Lake Huron Drive in the Hamlet of Desbarats on Sunday, December 14th, 2025.
Tree Lighting at 5:30pm with carolling to follow.
This event is free to attend, but donations will be greatly appreciated to help this annual event continue each year. Please leave your dogs at home.
STREET CLOSURES 4pm-8pm:
- Lake Huron Drive from Johnson Drive to Queen Victoria Street (including limited access to Johnson Drive).
- Main Street from Margaret St. to Lake Huron Drive.
