Children’s Holiday Party: Sunday, December 7, 2025

Get ready for a visit from the big guy in red! Santa himself will be at the Johnson Township Community Centre on Sunday, December 7, 2025.

Holiday celebrations will start at 1pm-2pm with a FREE Public Skate. Skates, helmets, and skate helpers will be available to borrow. Skate sharpening is by donation on site. Remember to skate to your own ability and use the ice at your own risk.

After a few laps, head upstairs for Hot Chocolate, Holiday Cookies, and a visit from the big guy himself! 2pm-4pm the hall will be open for snacks, crafts, and our sources say Santa will stop by around 3pm to hear if the children of Desbarats have been good or bad this year!

This event is only made possible by a very generous donation from the Desbarats Women’s Institute. Who, after over 100 years of service, have disbanded the local chapter. Their gift will help keep this Holiday event going for years to come. We thank all members, current and past, for the dedicated years of service to the community of Desbarats and for the impact they made on shaping this wonderful community.
