Canning 101 with Chef Emerie Brine

We are thrilled to be working with the Rural Agri-Innovation Network (RAIN), and the Lake Superior Living Labs Network (LSLLN) to bring you a Canning 101 workshop.

Chef Emerie Brine will be joining us at the Johnson Township Community Centre in the upstairs hall on Thursday, July 28 from 4pm-5:30pm to demonstrate the ins and outs of safe home canning practices.

Chef will be walking participants through THREE basic recipes: Tomato Sauce, Traditional Bread & Butter Pickles, and Dilled Beans. All supplies are included in the $10 registration fee.

Chef Emerie Brine comes from a background of home canning, and his recent partnership with Bernardin has allowed him to explore and experiment with home canning recipes.
