INFORMATION RELEASE – Flooding and Public Works
The Township of Johnson would like to thank everyone who has called the Municipal Offices to inform us of work that is needed around the community. We really appreciate the information and hearing about these concerns – it is your community.
The flooding during the week of June 10 required an immediate response from our Public Works Department. They worked extremely hard to ensure that roads were opened and culverts repaired as quickly as possible. It was urgently important that we correct these deficiencies as soon as possible.
The work done during the heavy rainfall has now put our planned seasonal work, such as grass cutting, grading, brushing etc. behind schedule. Unless we are again interrupted by unexpected weather, we are now back on schedule to compete this work. Your patience is appreciated during this time.
