Letter to Nova Scotia
The Honourable Premier Stephen McNeil Province of Nova Scotia
PO Box 608
Halifax, Nova Scotia
May 12, 2020
On behalf of the Township of Johnson, Council, staff and our many residents, I wish to extend our thoughts and prayers to the people of Nova Scotia during this very difficult time.
The Township of Johnson is a small rural community that is dominated by many agricultural operations. We are located east of the City of Sault Ste Marie within the larger District of Algoma. Along with our neighbours, we promote and celebrate our culture and heritage. We are a small united community that has a strong volunteer base that supports and enhances the many services available to our residents and visitors.
In this time of sorrow, our community will keep each and every one of you close to our hearts and we offer condolences to the unforgivable loss to the people of Nova Scotia. Please know that you are supported through such difficult times.
As a measure and symbol of respect and support, the Township of Johnson has posted the following image with the hashtag #NovaScotiaStrong on our website.
